Jose Narvaez is a photographer whose work is inspired by experiences, these experiences, derive from personal or shared. From immigration activity at the border, social issues that people of color face daily, and the effect of time and death on people's lives are all used to create new bodies of work. As a commercial and fine art photographer, he is passionate about mixing skillsets from the two. These skill sets consist of controlled lighting and subjects in the studio, to using unpredictable forces such as the weather, time, personal traumas, and nature.
Jose was born in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico, and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He has had a variety of works exhibited in the North Texas region where he completed his BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in photography from the University of North Texas.
